Nashville, TN - (May 31, 2012) - Group 1 Crew has a monumental week, celebrating their first #1 hit with "He Said" on Billboard's Christian CHR chart and hitting the Top 10 at AC Monitored. "I'm still in shock about this. Thank you all for making a dream of Group 1 Crew become a reality! Love ya'll! Now let's celebrate," said Blanca Reyes of Group 1 Crew, enthusiastically thanking her Word Entertainment family upon hearing the good news. The group is currently in the studio putting the final touches on their upcoming album, due out in September. The album will feature Group 1 Crew's #1 single "He Said" featuring Chris August.
Group 1 Crew has become one of the leading Hip-Hop focused acts in the Christian music scene, broadening the parameters of faith-based music with songs that percolate with energy and resonate with the truth of God's grace. To date, the talented group has had three hit singles break into the Top 5 on Billboard's Christian CHR Charts, including "Keys To The Kingdom" and "Movin'."
